Xavier Gets Win Over Rhode Island, 84-66

On February 8th at home, the Musketeers beat the Rams, 84-66.

Some notes regarding this matchup: Xavier had a much better RPI than Rhode Island, #53 to #239. The Musketeers are a very strong team playing at home, and the Rams were not playing well and had lost 3 out of 5. Last season, Xavier beat Rhode Island 72-45. Going back four years, the Musketeers are 5-0 against the Rams including 2-0 at Cintas Center. Since 1980, Xavier has owned Rhode Island, 18-3.
